# IT projects at a fixed quote — server move, Microsoft 365 migration, rollout.

Not everything is operations. A server move, a migration to Microsoft 365, a new site, a device rollout — those are projects: with a start, an end, an agreed scope and a fixed quote. We hand over with documentation. Whether operations follow is your decision.

## Six projects we do regularly.

- **Server move and migration** — From the basement to a data centre, from physical to virtual, from old to current. With a test run, a rollback path and a weekend when it actually happens.
- **Microsoft 365 migration** — Exchange, file servers and identities to Microsoft 365 — mailboxes, data, permissions, sign-in. Afterwards M365 is a building block for you, not a building site.
- **New site** — Network, firewall, Wi-Fi, internet connection, printers, workplaces — fully planned before the first employee moves in. Provider coordination included.
- **Device rollout** — New laptops for everyone: prepared, distributed, old devices wiped cleanly. With Autopilot and Intune, so the next device is ready in minutes instead of hours.
- **Backup rebuild** — A backup that provably comes back: concept, setup, first restore test with a log. Separated from the production network so it survives an attack.
- **IT takeover and assessment** — The admin leaves, the provider changes, nobody knows exactly what is running any more. We record, document and hand over — to you, to us or to whoever you choose.

## How a project runs with us.

01. **Intro call** — You describe the plan, we ask questions. Free, non-binding, usually done in half an hour.
02. **Assessment** — We look at what is there — on site or remotely. Without it there is no honest price.
03. **Fixed quote** — Scope, acceptance criteria, schedule, price — and what is not included. In writing, before anyone starts.
04. **Implementation in steps** — No big bang. Every step with a rollback path so operations keep running.
05. **Handover** — Documentation a successor could work with — and that belongs to you. Operations afterwards optional.

## What a fixed quote from us contains.

A fixed price is only as good as what it covers. That is why our quote contains more than a number.

- Scope — what exactly is done, system by system
- Acceptance criteria — how you know it is finished
- Schedule with milestones and the switch-over date
- Rollback plan — what happens if something does not work
- What is not included — so there is no discussion later
- Price as a fixed price; changes only as a written addendum

## What we get asked about projects.

**Do we have to sign an operations contract after the project?**
No. Many clients get to know us through a project and decide afterwards. The documentation is yours — even if you continue operations yourself or with someone else.

**How do you arrive at a fixed price without guessing?**
Through the assessment. We look at the environment before we name a number. Anything that was not visible and turns up later is handled as an addendum — in writing, beforehand.

**Do you work with our current provider?**
Yes. In takeovers and migrations the predecessor is usually involved. We collect what we need and keep the tone factual — you want a change, not a dispute.

**How small can a project be?**
Small enough for a fixed quote: a server move, a backup rebuild, one site. Anything done in two hours we do on a time basis — nobody needs a quote for that.
